ABOUT THE PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Marcin Bogucki, BSc, is a seasoned psychotherapist accredited by the Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy. He earned his degree in counseling and psychotherapy from Middlesex University in London, via PCI College in Ireland, specializing in Humanistic & Existential modalities. His thesis explored the intersection of therapeutic interventions, neuropsychology, and the efficacy of psychotherapy. With a rich and diverse background in community support, mental health care, and services for homelessness, 

Marcin is dedicated to helping individuals overcome psychological and emotional challenges.

Marcin adopts a holistic approach to therapy, tailoring his methods to the unique needs of each individual, recognizing the complexity of their minds. His personal journey with neurodiversity fuels his passion for helping neurodivergent individuals, empowering them to embrace their authentic selves and thrive. His expertise has recently expanded into the realm of family therapy, where he works with entire families to foster understanding, compassion, and adaptability within the family system.

Guided by Carl Rogers' belief that self-acceptance is key to personal growth, Marcin helps his clients develop strategies that align with their natural cognitive and emotional processes. He integrates this philosophy into his work, supporting clients in building healthy routines for managing ADHD and other challenges.

Throughout his career, Marcin has worked closely with individuals facing various mental health conditions, including those related to his own recent neurodiversity diagnosis. His therapeutic approach blends several modalities, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), ensuring a comprehensive, compassionate, and effective treatment plan.
